New Zealand Author Lands 10 Year Book Deal
Press Release – NZ author snapped up by Global Publisher in 10-year deal.
Immediate Release.
We are excited to announce that Gilbert Literary Agency author, Gary Paul Stephenson, has just signed a 10-year deal with the team at Pharos Books.
Gary’s first three novels which make up the Charles Langham series which spans the Pacific, Atlantic and Caribbean, melding true environmental facts into political fiction in an enthralling way, will be the first to be published.
“We live in a world in crisis. A world where greed turns the wheels of state. A world where environmental concerns take a back seat to the vast machine of global commerce. Eco-philanthropist Charles Langham is determined to change that. Langham implores the United Nations General Assembly to take a more active role in combating famine and the deforestation of rainforests, reversing extinction rates, and promoting alternative fuels. But this environmental plea has teeth.”
The series will be initially published in English before being translated into French, Spanish and Hindi.
Distribution will be worldwide.
Gilbert Literary Agents retain exclusive film rights on behalf of the Author.
Gary latest project is a departure from his earlier style, “Occidendum Me” based in Auckland, deals with how a husband, in his own words and after his death, breaks the news of his untimely death to his wife, who killed him and why he kept his work a secret from her.
A fourth Charles Langham Novel, based in the Southern Ocean is in the planning stages.
Congratulations Gary Paul Stephenson.

Gary lives with his wife Davina in Auckland and has three children.
